Opaque 2.2.0

Thanks for using Opaque! This release focuses on expanding observability for customer deployments, advancing our UI modernization, and strengthening the system foundation for future development.

New features and enhancements

  • Customer-facing observability and monitoring: Opaque now exposes observability metrics via OpenTelemetry, enabling integration with tools like Prometheus and Grafana. See Monitor Opaque Performance to learn how to incorporate these into your own monitoring workflows.
  • Design system rollout continues: Additional components have been migrated to the new UI design system, enhancing consistency and usability across the platform. The final set of updates is in progress.
  • System enhancements: Internal tooling and infrastructure have been refined to boost performance, scalability, and development velocity.

Fixed issue

  • Fixed reviewer access issue: Reviewers in multiparty workspaces can now access jobs with query variables as expected.

Known issue

Issue Workaround
On the Data Management page, filters can extend beyond the visible screen when too many are applied or labels are too long, making some filters inaccessible and unremovable. No workaround.
